Richard1 Bowen (1594?-1675) was a founder of Rehoboth, Massachusetts and has a well documented genealogy to the fifth generation.[1,2,3]
In 2008 a project to use FTDNA tests to prove the genealogy was initiated. A new version has been published here. (Version 4.2, published June 2019). Key updates in this version:
- We now have 23 participants.
- We found a descendant of Thomas2 Bowen and now have coverage for 100% of the 11 men in the first three generations.
- We added a new visual way to better show the DNA results.
- We are now getting multiple sub-lines at the 7th generation.
